A one-stop shop with a large range of interlining and fusing.MacCulloch and Wallis is a fabric and trimmings store that have been around since 1902. Originally located in Mayfair they moved to their Poland Street premises in Soho about year ago.
A gorgeous store filled with one off printed cloth collections as well as their re-occurring plainer fabrics.
The sample rails they have dotted around the store allow you to closely examine all fabric rolls. Might I just add that you’re free to help yourself to those rails. They trust you’ll be wise enough to cut reasonable sample pieces – emphasis on sample size, it is very easy to get carried away.
If you’re after samples alone I’d advise you carry some fabric scissors with you in order to grab a few samples of cloth you like – this way you’ll spend less time waiting to be served as the store can get relatively busy.
